Activision recently provided more details for their upcoming turntable bundle for the upcoming DJ Hero game. Tagged as the DJ Hero Renegade Edition, the new bundle will come with a black turntable with gold sliders and a carrying case that doubles into a stand. The special edition bundle will also come with a two-CD pack that features previously unreleased tracks for Jay-Z and Eminem.
Built in the mold of Guitar Hero (but for the hip-hop crowd), DJ Hero is a rhythm game that makes use of a turntable that you scratch, spin and mix to emulate DJ-ing. Set to be released on October 27th for the PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360, DJ Hero will also feature mash-ups of songs from the Gorillaz and Marvin Gaye, Jurassic 5 and Herbie Hancock, Tears for Fears and Eric Prydz, Chuck Brown and The Zombies, Nirvana and Rick James, and David Bowie and KRS One.
The standard DJ Hero kit is priced at $119.99, while the Renegade Edition’s price is set at $199.99 (pre-order) on Amazon.
