Digital camera company DXG has just unveiled a new Luxe Collection of compact camcorders that combine 720p HD recording with stylish exteriors. Available in two design sets in different colors, each Luxe camcorder features a 5MP sensor, a 3-inch display and an SDHC-compatible card slot, and is capable of recording up to 8MP JPEG stills and 720p HD videos in either MOV or H.264 formats.

The two models include the argyle-patterned Soho available in pink and blue, and the textured Riviera, available in pink, white, and black. The camcorders are powered by either a Li-Ion battery pack or four AAA batteries, and include USB, AV, and HDMI connectivity for connecting to PCs, HDTVs, and home entertainment systems.

All Luxe models each come with a USB, AV, and HDMI cable and a matching luxury case for $149.99.
