Mobile Phones - Thursday, July 23rd, 2009

The upcoming Sony Ericsson XPERIA-branded phone that was only previously known as the “Rachael” finally gets an official name, a concrete spec list, and a pre-order listing on expansys.com.
There’s no pricing info or an official shipping date, but the full spec for the new XPERIA X3 is out. According to the listing, it’ll run on an Android mobile OS, will feature quad-band and HSDPA/HSUPA network support, Wi-fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and will sport an 8-megapixel main cam with a LED flash. The 4-inch touchscreen will sport an 800×400 resolution for widescreen media viewing. It’s also capable of recording video clips at 30fps VGA quality, and will support A-GPS route-mapping.
