Gateway unveils $300 netbook

Gateway just released the $400 LT3100 netbook last month, but now the company has launched the LT2000, a 10.1-inch netbook with a $299.99 starting price tag. Available in NightSky Black and Cherry Red (model name LT2021u) colors, it’s about an inch thick and weighs 2.62 pounds.
You get basic specs with that basic price tag of course – Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB hard drive and a three-cell battery. It’s got 802.11b/g Wi-Fi connectivity, but as expected, no Bluetooth.
