Bang & Olufsen intros BeoTime alarm clock
Digital Home - Friday, July 17th, 2009

It looks like a flute, but it’s essentially a stylized alarm clock with a bit more tech packed into it. The BeoTime does more than just beep to wake you up–this device connects to other Bang & Olufsen units, such as radios or TVs, so you can sleep with the TV on or wake up to the sound of the morning news.

The timer will also shut down everything according to a preset time, letting you walk out of the room (or the house) without having to worry about leaving stuff on–provided that you own other B&O-branded stuff, of course. It also adds a motion sensor that allows it to orient itself depending on how its held up, and a sensor that causes it to snooze with a soft tap.
