It’s late to the party, but Sony is now catching up with other notebook manufacturers by introducing a spill-resistant keyboard on the Vaio BZ. It’s the first time Sony has ever offered this feature, which, Sony says, has been a top request from their customers for a while. All we can say is, Sony sure took its sweet time on this one.
The VAIO BZ has been around for a while, but it does make sense that it’s the first among Sony notebooks to get a spill-proof keyboard, since it’s got a tough build. The notebook is encased in magnesium alloy and offers G-Sensor Shock Protection for the hard drive. The VAIO BZ runs on up to a 2.39GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, has a 15.4-inch display, up to 4GB RAM and up to 320GB hard drive. Price starts at $970.
