Patriot launches DDR3 G Series memory for AMD’s Dragon platform

Patriot Memory has announced that they’ll be coming out with a new line of performance DDR3 memory specifically designed to run on AMD’s Dragon platform. Branded as the G Series (for “Gamer”), the new line of memory modules target gamers and enthusiasts who need the stability for running systems based on AMD’s overclocker-friendly Black Edition processors.

The Black Edition Ready G series are pre-programmed with enhanced latency and are optimized for use with AMD’s OverDrive software that can tweak memory bandwidth, timing and voltages within Windows for systems running on AM3 processors and AMD’s 7-Series chipsets.

Patriot’s G Series are available from PC3-10666 (1600MHz) to PC3-12800 (1333MHz) modules in 4GB (2 x 2GB) Dual Channel kits.

Patriot Memory also offers triple-channel Gamer Series 6GB kits for Core i7 Processors, also available in 1600MHz and 1333MHz frequencies.
