Notebooks - Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

MSI has finally let out more details on the X-Slim X400 notebook, which the company announced in May. The 14-inch, ultra-slim notebook powered by Intel’s ultra low-voltage CULV platform weighs just 1.5kgs – battery included – and is barely an inch thick.
The X400 offers 2GB to 4GB of DDR2 memory, a 320GB or 500GB SATA drive, optional Bluetooth, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, and either a 4- or 8-cell battery. MSI threw in high-definition support as well, with an HDMI port and 1080p resolution. An external DVD or Blu-Ray drive is also offered as an option. No pricing has been announced yet, however.
