Seagate set to release 640GB FreeAgent Go portable HDD

Seagate has come out with a product page that updates its FreeAgent Go line of portable drives with a model with a 640GB capacity. There have been external drives with larger multi-TB capacities before, but this is probably one of the first 2.5-inch compact drives to go past the 500GB mark.
The 640GB FreeAgent Go does not have a price or release date yet, but it will be available in either Tuxedo Black or Titanium Silver. It will still be USB-powered, and will also feature the line’s power management and backup/sync features, support for Seagate’s $29.99 “Go Dock” docking station, and a 5-year warranty.
