External hard drives are getting bigger and bigger. Western Digital just unveiled the My Book Studio II Edition, which has a whopping 4TB of storage.
Made for Macs, this dual drive storage system is formatted for Macs and is compatible with Apple Time machine’s backup feature. It’s got a RAID 0 configuration and is fitted with four interfaces – eSATA, FireWire 800, FireWire 400 and USB 2.0. This slick, silver drive also uses Western Digital’s GreenPower technology which keeps the drive quiet and conserves power at the same time.
The 4TB My Book Studio II Edition dual-drive storage system can be had for $649.99. It’s now out in select retailers, as well as Western Digital’s online store.
