Two desktop PCs are out from eMachines – the EL1300G-01w and EL1399G-02w. Both are low-cost models and have small form factors.
The EL1300 Series desktops are about one-third the size of regular PCs at 10.7 inches tall and 4.2 inches wide. They have white shells as well, and have overall sleek looks. These small form factor PCs are powered by AMD Athlon 2650e processors, NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE integrated graphics, SuperMulti DVD drives, and 160GB SATA hard drives. The EL1300G-01w has 2GB DDR2 memory though, and comes installed with Windows Vista Home Basic. It’s priced at $298. The EL1300G-02w on the other hand, comes with only 1GB DDR2 memory and Windows XP Service Pack 3, but is packaged with a white, 20-inch widescreen LCD monitor with built-in speakers. It’s priced at $398. The LCD monitor is also sold separately at a $119 price tag.
