Logitech finally announces the availability of the Harmony Adapter for the PS3. Designed to work with any of Logitech’s universal Harmony remotes, this extra wireless kit gives you wireless control over your home entertainment system’s final frontier: the Blu-ray-packing PlayStation 3.
The PS3-specific adapter supports all of the PS3’s 51 commands, including powering it on and off, controlling playback of its DVD/BD drive, and navigation of the XrossMediaBar interface. The adapter is self-powered and connects to the console via a Bluetooth connection to spare users from extra cable clutter, and compact enough, so finding a spot for it shouldn’t be a problem.
The Logitech Harmony Adapter for the PS3 is now available in the US for $60. Europe should be seeing it on store shelves by July of this year.
