Judging from the number of guitar controllers already out in the market, Guitar Hero fans clearly think that there’s no such thing as too many. The latest to come out is the Logitech Wireless Guitar Controller for PlayStations 2 and 3. From the looks of it, it’s time to quit the air guitar and do some real jamming.

This slick, black piece looks so close to a real guitar, with its wood neck and body, glossy pick guard, metal frets and tuning pegs, plus a rosewood fingerboard. Logitech used rubber dome technology on the fret board controls to lessen button noise, and a touch-sensitive slider can be found right on the guitar controller. Wireless range can reach up to 30 feet from the console.

The Wireless Guitar Controller should be out before this month ends in the US and it will start shipping in Europe in June. Retail price will be $199.99.
