
Asus has partnered with Japanese mobile provider NTT DoCoMo to release a new 10-inch Eee PC with a built-in 3G data connection. Labeled as the Eee PC 1003HAG, the 3G connection allows the mobile provider’s subscribers to connect to the Net without having to hunt for a hotspot.

Other World Computing has unveiled a USB 2.0 Display Adapter that connects an additional display through a USB port. Designed to give multi-display support to laptops and desktops that don’t have any extra video-out ports, it makes for a pretty handy add-on that spares users from having to buy and install a secondary graphics card.

VholdR recently introduced “the world’s first wearable HD camcorder” called the ContourHD. Designed for people who are into extreme sports (such as sky-diving, mountain biking, and bungee jumping), this tiny, rugged video recorder straps onto a number of surfaces (such as hemets, goggles and vehicles) to free both your hands for other things (like protecting yourself from trees, bear attacks, and falls onto hard concrete).

HP’s business notebook line just got an update with the ProBooks, which are designed with a focus on security and business. These notebooks come with HP QuickLook 2 software which brings you instant access to e-mail, calendar, tasks and contact information. It also has File Sanitizer for HP Protect Tools which permanently deletes data from the notebook should you decide to get rid of it and HP SpareKey for determining forgotten passwords with secure questions.
