Samsung Tint launches under MetroPCS samsungtint

We don’t see a lot of clamshell phones anymore, thanks to the recent barrage of smart- and touchphones in the market, so the launch of the Tint from Samsung got our attention. Available through MetroPCS, provider of unlimited wireless communications services, the Tint is a basic flip phone with some notable features.

Grey and pink are the standard colors included in the box, but you can buy additional faceplates for an extra charge. You don’t get 3G with the Tint, but it’s an AWS (advanced wireless service) phone and has Bluetooth and GPS. You get ChatLINK too – a social networking tool that lets you talk to people with compatible phones with just a push of a button. The rest of the Tint’s specs are run-of-the-mill – integrated camera, advanced voice recognition and speakerphone.
