Asus has partnered with Japanese mobile provider NTT DoCoMo to release a new 10-inch Eee PC with a built-in 3G data connection. Labeled as the Eee PC 1003HAG, the 3G connection allows the mobile provider’s subscribers to connect to the Net without having to hunt for a hotspot.

The 1003HAG’s spec list is basically identical to the Eee PC 1002H that sports a 1.66GHz Intel Atom processor, 1GB of DDR2 memory, and a chiclet-style keyboard. It also packs in a 160GB hard drive, a 1.3MP Webcam, a card-reader, Wi-fi and Bluetooth connectivity, plus a SIM slot for the 3G data connection.

Available in white, black, and pink body colors, the Eee PC 1003HAG will be start selling on May 16th in Japan.
