Sony announces noise canceling Bluetooth headphones sony%20BT%20headsets

With just about every new phone worth looking at featuring Bluetooth connectivity with an A2DP stereo profile, coming out with a quality wireless headset shouldn’t be so far out. Sony has just announced a couple of new wireless headphones to fill the void.

The new headphones include the DR-BT100CX in-ears, and an overhead set called the DR-BT101. Capable of handling voice calls (via a built-in microphone) and music, both feature Sony’s noise canceling technology for clear sound quality and support for the Bluetooth 2.1 standard and A2DP, AVRCP, HFP and HSP profiles.

The BT100CX is listed to last up to 8 hours and feature 9mm Neodymium drivers, while the BT101 is packed with 30mm Neodymium speakers and a battery that’s good for up to 12 hours of play-time. Both sets feature volume and playback controls and charge via a USB cable.

Both models have been announced on the European SonyStyle site, but aren’t listed for price or availability yet.
