Aliph introduces the Jawbone Prime jawboneprime

Bluetooth headsets just keep getting better and better. The third iteration of Aliph’s Jawbone Prime Bluetooth headset tells as much, with its new design and colors and updated technologies.

The headset’s AVAD (Acoustic Voice Activity Detector) makes sure the system works when the VAS (Voice Activity Sensor) doesn’t come into contact with the face. The Aliph team seems to have thought of everything, even wind effect – a Sensor Signal Fusion System into place to reduce wind noise, leaving microphone sound loud and clear.

The Jawbone Prime supports Multipoint Bluetooth 2.1, so you can use it with two phones. Talk time is rated at 4.5 hours, and it should be able to last eight days on standby. The package includes three earbuds, three New Fit earbuds, one earloop, a wall charger and a USB cable. It’s available in three regular colors – Blah Blah Black (black), Coffee Talk (brown) and Platinum (silver), and four limited edition Ear Candy colors – Drop Me a Lime (green), Frankly Scarlet (pink), ‘Yello! (yellow) and Lilac You Mean It (purple). The headset will roll out on May 2 at a $130 price tag; the site will take pre-orders in the meantime.
