MSI Wind U100 gets an update with the Wind U100 PLUS

MSI is giving its Wind U100 netbook a do-over. The Wind U100 PLUS now runs on an Intel Atom N280 processor, which provides lower power consumption. With the Wind U100 available in imperial black, angelic white and regal red colors, the Wind U100 PLUS comes in two more colors – rose champagne and metallic blue.
The Wind U100 PLUS weighs only about 1kg including its 3-cell battery. The specifications list includes a 10-inch backlit LED screen, a 1.3-megapixel built-in webcam, 802.11b / g / n Wireless Lan with Bluetooth and Windows XP Home. System memory is 1GB, upgradeable to 2GB, while the hard drive is 160GB SATA.
