The MSI StarCam Flip is a webcam and a card scanner in one. As its name implies, it flips back and forth to perform its two functions. Flip it out and it looks like a webcam with a stand, flip it up and over and it’s a scanner that looks like a desk lamp.

As a webcam, the StarCam Flip uses a glass lens that provides clear images and a two-megapixel sensor that can take up to eight-megapixel pictures with software interpolation. It also has a built-in microphone for web conferencing. As a business card, the StarCam Flip uses PenPower business card recognition software. It scans business cards and easily transfers the data to contact management programs such as Outlook.
