Samsung introduces three portable media players

Samsung is putting out three portable media players this April and May in the US, two of which are equipped with Samsung’s EmoDio multimedia platform, which does RSS and voice recording, and turns text into audio files.
The P3 portable media player (pictured above) features a 3-inch EmoTure touch screen that has customizable widgets, like all touch devices these days. The P3 is built with DNSe 3.0 sound enhancement technology and an integrated speaker, plus it has a Music Hot Touch key for accessing the player’s music features. This model also has Bluetooth so you can hook it up to wireless headphones and do quick file transfers. The P3 can also serve as an external storage drive, and it does FM playback and recording as well as voice recording. It’s expected to come out in May with the following price tags: 8GB for $149.99, 16GB for $199.99, and 32GB for $299.99.

The Q2 media player also has DNSe 3.0 sound enhancement tech, along with an Audio Upscaler, 3D Sound and Concert Hall settings, plus an FM radio and recorder, a text viewer and a voice recorder. The Q2’s Smart button allows you one quick access to your favorite function, and it’s got a 2.4-inch screen too. The Q2 will be out this April, with 8GB and 16GB varieties priced at $99.99 and $129.99 respectively. It will be available in black and white colors.

The U5 is the lone MP3 player in the group with an FM tuner and recorder. It will come out with 2GB of storage this April, and will be sold in five colors – blue, pink, white, black and red.
