ViewSonic rolls out new 22 inch 1080p panel ViewSonic%20VT2230

To give more options to the 1080p LCD monitor market, Viewsonic has launched their latest model, the VT2230, to add to their continuously expanding portfolio of display panels. Not that it aims to be the main centerpiece in a living room entertainment center worthy of the next MTV Cribs fodder with a considerably mid-sized 22-inch screen, but it nevertheless supports full 1080p resolutions. The brand is ideally pushing it for smaller rooms, like perhaps the bedroom or the den, as a great solution if you’re looking for an HDTV but lack the necessary space to accommodate those normally large panels.

This which makes it a great display to accompany multimedia devices like multimedia set-top boxes to entertain family dinners or game consoles for personal gaming in the basement away from nosy family members who worry too much about your social life.

It also features an 8000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 5ms response time, an integrated ATSC/NTSC/QAM TV tuner and multiple connectivity options which naturally includes an HDMI port and allows connections to various gaming consoles and both DVD and Blu-ray players.

The ViewSonic VT2230 is now available, shipping out with a $349 price tag.
