After launching the NC20 netbook, Samsung Korea has announced that they’ll be coming out with a quick followup, the NC310 very soon, to be launched across different regions that include North America, Asia, and Europe. The full tech specs haven’t been officially announced, but it’s likely to be powered by Intel’s Atom processor. What we do know is that the NC310 looks to have more rounded edges, and it’ll be sporting a 10.1-inch LCD screen.
According to Samsung (through a report from Akihabaranews), the NC310 will also feature Wi-fi b/g, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a 1.3MP camera, and bluetooth connectivity. What makes this netbook stand out from your usual budget ultraportable, is the inclusion of HSDPA and WiMAX (WiBro in Korea) connectivity. It’ll also come with a standard battery pack that can run for 5 hours, and 11 hours (!) with an optional enhanced batttery.
