Mobile electronics maker Alpine has announced that their new GPS device, the PND-K3msn, is now available. The K3msn features a 4.3-inch touch-enabled wide screen, OnPoint Advanced GPS Positioning, and integrated support for Microsoft’s MSN Direct service that gives the user real-time information.
OnPoint technology helps give out faster, more accurate information by using three positioning sensors (GPS, Gyro, and a G-Sensor) to detect where you are and where you want to go on time and on the dot. The K3msn’s support for MSN Direct gives the user more information, including real-time traffic updates, weather, gas prices, news, stock updates, local events and even movie times through the application’s easy interface. It also features turn-by-turn Voice Guidance tech that now announces street names while you drive around.
The K3msn also sports a range of multimedia features, including a Bluetooth hands-free function, and an SD Card slot for MP3/WMA music playback to keep you entertained. The kit also comes with an easy to use windshield and dashboard mount.
The initial package comes preloadad with maps across the USA and Canada, including Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. The PND-K3msn is available now for $299.95 and comes with a 3-month subscription to the MSN Direct Service.
