Dell’s new DLP-based projector, the 4210X, stands out from the crowd with dual-VGA ports that allow it to switch seamlessly between two separate input devices (such as two notebooks). The 4210X also sports an HDMI port that allows it to connect to HD players for showing high-def video.

The 4210X also packs in a number of technologies for improving color and brightness, including BrilliantColor that optimizes brightness, accuracy, and contrast under different lighting conditions and and DLP tech for delivering consistent picture quality with a long lamp life and reasonable costs. The projector is capable of 2000:1 contrast ratios, a 307-inch maximum projection size at 10 meters, and a brightness of 3,500 ANSI lumens, and can produce images with a 1024 x 768 resolution.

Other features include an RJ45 LAN connection that allows for accessing the projector through the network, a built-in 10W speaker, and support for both front and rear projection. Rear connectors also include Component, RCA and S-Video ports.

The Dell 4210X Projector is priced at $1099 through Dell’s online store and carries a 1-year warranty.
