Sony gets ready to out iPod-ready stereo, the CMT-LX30iR

Sony Insider reported that Sony is preparing to release the CMT-LX30iR, a compact stereo system built with an iPod/ iPod Touch/ iPhone dock and USB compatibility. The CMT-LX30iR sports a pair of 5-Watt speakers, a slot-loading CD player, and an AM/FM tuner. There are also and audio in/out ports that allow for use as an external speaker for just about anything from mobile phones, laptops, and other portable media devices.
Amazon Germany currently has it pegged for 161 Euros (around US$200). There’s no word yet on pricing and availability in other regions.
