New Asus EeeBox sports Radeon HD graphics
Asus updates its line of EeeBox line of dekstop PCs with the EeeBox PC B208, which comes with an ATI Radeon HD 4350 graphics chip and 256MB DDR2 VRAM. The new HD-series GPU gives it the ability to decode HD video and connect to HDTVs and projectors via an HDMI port. It should also allow for better 3D gaming—well, whatever passes for 3D gaming on this Intel Atom 330-based desktop.
The compact EeeBox also comes packaged with a choice between a Vista Home Basic or Vista Business operating system, and 160, 250, and 320GB SATA II hard drive options. The rest of the spec includes 1GB of DDR2 RAM, Gigabit LAN, and a 802.11 b/g/n Wi-fi connection. The package also comes with a wireless remote control, a stand, and a 36W power adapter.
