Dell recently announced a new premium desktop PC along their performance Studio XPS line, the Studio XPS 435. Powered by Intel’s Core i7 processor, the XPS 435 is designed for performance and massive upgradeability, with enough space to fit up to 24GB of 1066MHz DDR3 memory, and graphics options up to an ATI Radeon HD4870 GPU with 1GB GDDR5 memory.

The Dell Studio XPS 435 sports a stylish chassis, with a recessed area on top where the USB ports and audio connections can be found. One Firewire port and card slots are also available along the front panel. The system supports 8-channel HD audio, with an option to add Creative’s X-Fi Xtreme Audio or Sound Blaster Titanium sound cards, up to 4.5 Terabytes of disk space (with three 7200rpm hard drives), and a choice between a Blu-ray drive, a DVD-RW drive, or two optical drives.

The Studio XPS 435 starts out at $1099 with 3GB of memory, a 500GB hard drive, ATI Radeon HD 3650 graphics, and no monitor. Dell also offers a $1549 top-end configuration that comes with 6GB memory, a 750GB hard drive, HD 4670 graphics, and a 24-inch S2409W LCD monitor.
