After making it’s commercial rounds during the middle of last year in Japan, Sharp has announced that it’ll make the 108-inch LB-1085 LCD TV available for UK buyers to lug into their homes. Reportedly being peddled for £100,000 (US$143,000), this telly is capable of 1080p HD resolution, and carries a feature that supposedly cuts down on its power draw.
The LB-105 is listed to give buyers—at least those who have a big-enough living room to accommodate it—a 176-degree viewing angle, a 6ms response time and a screen that shows 760 million colors. Weighing in at 430 pounds, it features 3 HDMI slots, one DVI-I, two component and composite connections, one S-video port, four RCA analog audio and a Stereo mini port.
