Multiple inboxes come to Gmail gmailmultipleinboxes

Fresh out of Gmail Labs is a feature that lets you view several Gmail labels in one pane. Now you can set up your default Gmail view to show the contents of several labels on the top, bottom or side of your inbox. This is especially useful if you’re the type who sets e-mails to skip the inbox and go straight to specific labels. It will also help you view several e-mail accounts at same time, since non-Gmail accounts have their own labels anyway. This way, you can skip scrolling down Gmail’s left sidebar to find the labels you need.

To activate the multiple inboxes feature, you’ll need to go to your Gmail settings, click on the Labs tab, enable “Multiple Inboxes” then save. An extra tab will show up in your Settings page, and you’ll be able to configure the feature from there. It will allow up to five of your labels to show up onscreen, and will let you specify how many conversations per page you want to see for each label.
