PQI releases 1.8-inch microSATA S518 solid state drive
Taiwan’s PQI has turned out a 1.8-inch microSATA S518 solid state drive for high-end notebooks that’s shockproof and offers low power consumption. It has a rated maximum read speed of 150MB per second and write speed of 90MB per second, which the company touts as perfect for moving high definition multimedia files.
The PQI S518 SSD will be available in a variety of capacities, starting at 32GB to a whopping 128GB. It also comes with a 2-year warranty.
