NVIDIA puts 3D gaming right in your face GeForce%203D%20Vision%20Kit

Sometimes, a high-end graphics card just isn’t enough. If you’re looking for a truly immersive stereoscopic 3D gaming experience, this $199 kit from NVidia is the way to go. Pair them up with a recommended GeForce GPU, a compatible 120-Hz monitor or HDTV, load up the software, slip on the wireless 3D Vision Goggles, and watch as your games jump out at you.

It’s not actually that simple, since NVIDIA’s site currently lists only a handful of “GeForce 3D Vision-Ready” display devices out there that you can use. The rest of the requirements should be easy enough, especially if you already have a PC set up for games: a GeForce 8800 GT (or better) GPU, Windows Vista OS, an Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon X2 processor, 2GBs or memory, and 100MBs of free disk space.

Don’t worry too much about game compatibility though, since the 3D Vision site lists just about every game that’s worth playing right now. Check out the list of supported 3D Vision-ready games here .
